If you ever find yourself out in Wylie, TX be sure to stop by and visit In-Sync Exotics Sanctuary. They are a wonderful group of people (mostly volunteers) who rescue sick and injured felines of all kinds. They are in desperate need of donations to help pay for the food and care these animals need. It costs $10.00 a person to get in, but I encourage anyone who cares about these beautiful animals to give as much extra as you can. They are also looking for volunteers of all kinds, more info can be found here. They are opened to the public on Saturdays and Sundays from 11 AM – 6 PM and also offer group and night tours by appointment. For more information, visit their tours page. A Map and directions can be found here.
(Please pardon the quality of the photos, there are two layers of fencing between the animals and visitors, for the protection of both parties!)
Three very sick white lions brought in just days before, were confiscated from a Texas Facility by federal authorities from someone who rented them out to various events and didn’t take very good care of them. They were basically brought to In-Sync to provide a peaceful “dying” place for the animals… fortunately they are doing much better and expected to survive, but they urgently need your help in order to provide the care they need to continue to survive.
